I always get the updates from PMS interface when it is proposed, where a package can be downloaded and installed through manual installation, and never from T M app center.
I never had any problem.
You running TOS 6 or TOS 7?

Hi. There have been two more Plex Server releases for Terra-master since the release on the TOS App Ceter. When will it be updated?

After we receive the official update package from Plex, we will test it internally. Only after it passes testing will it be released in the App Center and pushed to customers.

Thanks for the update. Last time it was over six months and four releases from Plex on Terra-master with nothing updated in the App center before it was raised in this thread. In the last six weeks there have been two more releases from Plex for Terra-master - how long should we expect to wait?
Why is this important? I’m sure like other applications, Plex Server is currently the target of attack (just Google it). If we can’t keep apps up to date in the App center, then using it just causes unnecessary security exposures, and so we should all just use docker installs instead.

We have relayed your feedback directly to our product team.
While native App Center packages undergo internal validation to prevent system conflicts and ensure overall OS stability, deploying Plex via Docker is indeed a very flexible and viable alternative if you prefer immediate access to upstream updates as soon as they drop.
Thank you for your candid feedback and support!

Thanks. May I suggest that if you can’t keep the App center up to date - especially with security releases - then you should either decommission it or at least provide users an explicit warning of the security risk.

Thank you for your feedback. We will release an updated version today. We are also trying to reach out to the PLEX team so that they can subsequently apply through our developer platform to release and push new versions directly, which would allow us to push each of their new versions in a timely manner.
