Hi everyone,

I'm trying to run a PHP 8 app on my Terramaster NAS that requires mysqli and pdo_mysql, but I can't find a way to enable these extensions on the built-in Webserver. The PHP options in TOS are very limited.

My setup:

NAS model: F2-223
TOS version: 7.0.1341
PHP version: 8.0
App I'm trying to deploy: A simple webapp

What I've tried so far:

Enabled the Webserver from TOS app panel.
Switched the PHP version in the website settings.
Checked the available php.ini — no options to load mysqli or pdo_mysql.
Ran php -m via SSH: neither extension shows up.

My questions:

Is there an official way to enable extra PHP 8 extensions (mysqli, pdo_mysql, mbstring, etc.) on the Terramaster Webserver?
If not possible via TOS, has anyone managed it by compiling PHP manually or installing packages via SSH?
Is there a community repo or .tpk package with a full PHP 8 build including these extensions?
If you got it working, could you share the steps or your php.ini?

Any tip, link, or config example would be really appreciated. I imagine I'm not the only one hitting this wall when deploying modern PHP apps on a Terramaster NAS.

Thanks in advance.

PHP 8.0.24.3 installed via the APP Center does not include the extensions you mentioned.
You might consider using PHP 7.4.33.14, which does include the extensions you mentioned.
You could also consider installing PHP 8.1 via apt or using PHP 8 through a Docker container.
