[Help] How do I access my NAS?

Good afternoon.
How can I access my NAS from the internet?
As far as I understand, there are two ways.
1. Via TNAS ID
2. DDNS
Regarding the ID, I received it and activated it on the NAS. Remote access is enabled!
However, it doesn't work. It worked fine for one day, though, only through a VPN. It works without one. TNAS mobile version 3.5.081.
I tried TNAS online, went to the website, and entered the ID. A message popped up: This ID does not exist!
Have you deleted my ID? Do I need to register again?
Regarding DDNS,
I registered on the website. DUCK DNS. I have a public external IP. I configured the NAS using a token. I need to forward a port on the router. Tell me which port I need to forward? Where can I find the port number in the NAS settings? Or do I need to specify it myself? How do I do this?

We do not delete customers’ TNAS IDs. Please first log in to your NAS through the local network and check whether TNAS Online is enabled properly. Also, please make sure that the NAS has a stable network connection.
If you need to access the NAS remotely over the Internet, you can set up port forwarding on your router and forward port 8181 or 5443 used by the NAS to enable remote access.

May I know your current TOS version?

I bought my NAS 424 Pro in 2024 and set up remote access using TNAS ID - SYNAS77. When TOS7 was released, I updated it to TNAS. However, after each update, remote access was disabled. Now, after reinstalling TOS 7, I received a message saying the TNAS ID is already in use. Can you check this issue? It’s possible this ID is stuck, or maybe someone re-registered it to themselves.

The TNAS ID must be associated with your network adapter. If the network adapter designated as the default gateway is changed to a different one, the issue you mentioned may occur. Please check this and change the default gateway back to the previous network adapter.

The network addresses have remained unchanged since I began using the device. That said, while I was running TOS 6, I did add IPv6 support to my home network.

Could you please check whether my TNAS ID SYNAS77 is being used by someone else? Without this ID, I am unable to use the remote access feature.

Thank you for your feedback. Could you please try changing your TNAS ID—for example, to "SYNAS77A"? If this ID still does not work, please contact us online via this link:

When accessing via tnas.online, it shows that this TNAS ID is currently in use. You can switch to a different TNAS ID.
Also, when you upgraded to TOS 7, did you update the BIOS version?
