[Help] D2 320 RAID 1 seems to work, but the indicator LED does not

Hello
I have a TerraMaster D2-320 with two 4 TB hard drives installed, and I am trying to configure it in RAID 1 mode.
Initially, I had the physical selector set to RAID 1, but Windows detected two separate disks. I then switched to SINGLE mode, initialized both drives in Windows, and confirmed that each one appeared separately with a capacity of approximately 3.63 TB.
After that, I switched the selector back to RAID 1 and held the RESET button for about 5 seconds while the enclosure was powered on and connected to my computer.
After doing this, Windows started detecting only one disk with a capacity of approximately 3.63 TB, which seems consistent with RAID 1. However, Windows showed the disk as not initialized.
I also performed a basic test to check whether the data was mirrored between the two drives. I copied a test file to the RAID volume, powered off the enclosure, removed one drive, and checked that the file was still accessible. I then powered off the enclosure again, swapped the drives so that only the other drive was installed, and checked the file once more. The file was present and accessible in both cases. This is why I believe RAID 1 is working correctly.
However, the indicator LED does not change color when I press and hold RESET, even though Windows detects a single disk instead of two separate disks.
My questions are:
1. Does Windows detecting a single 3.63 TB disk, combined with my file test, indicate that RAID 1 is working correctly?
2. Is it normal for the indicator LED not to change color when pressing RESET to apply the RAID mode?
3. Is there another way to verify that RAID 1 is healthy and that both drives are properly mirrored?
Both drives are currently empty apart from the test file, so I can safely reconfigure the array if necessary.
Thank you for your help!
