The device experiences drive letter loss, file access errors (such as "file not found" or "invalid path"), and system lag on the computer. How to troubleshoot?

  1. Poor quality or aging cables can cause unstable data transmission. Please use the original data cable first or replace it with another high-quality USB cable.
  2. Dust accumulation or oxidation may cause poor contact. After powering off, open the enclosure, clean the internal dust, and gently wipe the gold fingers (metal contacts) on the SATA backplane with an eraser to improve contact.
