Transferring hard drives from an old DAS to a new DAS of the same model — will the RAID information be automatically restored? Will the data still be there?

This is feasible.
Please note that before transferring the disks, you need to ensure that the RAID mode of the new DAS matches that of the old DAS. For DAS models where only some slots support RAID, please place the disks in the same slots as in the old DAS.
