Applicable Models
D4 Thunderbolt 3(D4-330), D5 Thunderbolt 3(D5-330), D8 Thunderbolt 3(D8-330/D8-332/D8-331), D16 Thunderbolt 3(D16-331)
- First, ensure you are using the original Thunderbolt cable, identified by the lightning bolt symbol.
- Connect the DAS normally to the Thunderbolt port on the Mac and ensure it is powered on.
- Go to "macOS > About This Mac > System Report > Thunderbolt" to check if the DAS device is connected. After confirming, click "Next". If the DAS device is not shown under "System Report > Thunderbolt", troubleshoot the connection between the DAS and the computer, such as using the wrong cable, incorrect power supply, or a faulty DAS device.
- Go to "macOS > About This Mac > System Report > PCIE" to check if the 2720 driver has loaded successfully (No/Yes). If it shows No, the RAID driver has not been loaded, indicating a driver installation issue.
When installing the driver, pay attention to modifying the macOS security policy. If no extension driver prompt appears when installing the RAID driver, you need to manually enable it and load the driver in the system privacy settings.
