The D1 SSD Pro cannot work properly through USB 4 or Thunderbolt 5/4/3 ports.
Applicable Models
D1 SSD Pro
Troubleshooting steps:
- When connected to USB 4 or Thunderbolt 5/4/3 ports, the D1 SSD Pro's indicator is white; when connected to USB 3 ports, the indicator is yellow. A white indicator means the device is operating in high-speed transfer mode.
- Please use the original data cable with the TerraMaster logo and connect directly to the computer's Thunderbolt port.
- If installing a brand new NVMe SSD, go to the computer's Disk Management, initialize the hard drive as GPT partition format, create a simple volume and complete partition formatting before the drive letter will appear normally on the computer.
- If using an older NVMe SSD, it is recommended to wipe the SSD's PCIe gold finger contacts with an eraser, clean them, and then reinstall.
