Possible causes and solutions:

  1. Device standby or hard drive not recognized When no USB port is connected or no hard drive is installed, the device will automatically enter standby mode to save energy. At this time, the fan spinning once and stopping is normal. The fan and hard drive indicators only work when the hard drive is recognized by the computer.
  2. Hard drive tray not fully inserted
If the hard drive tray is not pushed in firmly, it may cause startup abnormalities. Please press the tray inward to ensure it is securely installed. Operation guide: https://support.terra-master.com/quickguide/
  3. USB cable compatibility issue Some USB-C cables may have impedance mismatches, affecting communication and causing fan abnormalities. It is recommended to replace the cable or switch to a different port for testing.
